My goal is to redo the same mod list and maybe add this and a couple other mods that I wasn't so sure about but have no proof via FNVedit or practical usage (which has been a flawless game for many hours) that they (the textures or mod) were the problem. Same thing with Skyrim, if it goes wrong CTD. Textures can be tricky I seem to have a knack for scripted problems though but my weakness is textures. In case you need a refresher, the New Vegas Script Extender- or NVSE for short - is a modders resource that expands the scripting capabilities of Fallout: New Vegas. You will see a button in the new window labelled ‘Add FOMod’. The New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE) has been updated for the first time since 2017 and marks the beginning of a community-led project to fix a lot of the long-standing bugs and quirks with this essential modding tool. In Fallout Mod Manager, open the ‘Package Manager’ using the button to the right hand side of the window. I choose not to add FCO on a hunch or rather didn't want to press a good working mod list that was fairly content heavy as is. zip files, so use something like WinRAR to extract the mod files into your new ‘Fallout New Vegas mods’ folder. Honestly, I think it's too early to make that assessment - including in fairness to the mod author. The below post may help, it addresses both installation order and mod order as well as stable compatible mods.Though I'm not currently using FCO now, reinstalling all mods and following the readmes quite closely took care of the crash problem. If your mods are installed properly, using FOMM should work.īut I too ended up with the same problem using FCO, same crashing scenario.
